The opportunity

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, was expanding its North American manufacturing and distribution footprint and needed a consistent, high-performance lighting standard across every site. With projects spread over more than a dozen states and built through different general contractors and electricians, the challenge was keeping one spec, one controls platform, and one accountable partner across the whole portfolio.

What we did

Relumination became Schneider's independent, manufacturer-agnostic energy-services partner across 25+ sites in 14 states, from the flagship Mt. Juliet, TN campus (800 Maddox) to Fairfield OH, Columbia MO, Lincoln NE, El Paso TX, and the Carolinas. We standardized on high-efficiency SLG fixtures paired with the SiteWorx smart-controls platform (occupancy, daylight harvesting, and metering), coordinated procurement with each site's GC and electrician, and engineered cost-saving details site by site, including a Bodine-inverter emergency lighting design that saved roughly $25,000 at Columbia. On the rebate side, we documented and filed utility incentives, including TVA and Duke Energy rebates paid directly to Schneider after commissioning.

The result

The standardized SLG-plus-SiteWorx approach delivers an estimated 60-70% energy savings versus a traditional LED package, with high-bay areas reaching roughly 80% in combined energy and maintenance savings. Schneider now has one lighting spec, one controls platform, and one partner managing audits, design, procurement coordination, rebates, and commissioning across its national footprint.
