Kick Off Earth Month at the GreenStock Expo in Scottsdale!

Next month is Earth Month, and what better way to celebrate by attending a sustainability festival! On April 15-17, GreenStocksRock will be hosting its second Greenstock Expo & Concert Series in Scottsdale at The Scottsdale WaterFront and South Bridge. Businesses will be showing off their green products and attendees will receive information about how to live a more sustainable life. The expo is free, but you will need to buy tickets to participate in the yoga classes, hosted by Mountainside Fitness, or attend the concerts. SRP’s Earthwise said it will plant a tree to help Arizona’s fire-damaged areas for every concert and yoga ticket purchased. One unique feature of the event is that the booths and concert stages will be powered by solar energy and other green energy alternatives.

GreenStock’s motto, “trade green, it’s our future,” is especially reflected in its website. On its homepage, you can find the latest press releases posted about “green news,” and there are categories in the lower left sidebar if you are specifically interested in a subject, such as organic food. In the electric car subcategory, the top press release is about the growing demand for electric vehicles. Li-ion Motors featured its two electric cars, the Inizio and the Wave II at the ground-breaking installation of electric charging stations at a Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, North Carolina. People attending the event were wowed by the slick, quiet cars. The Inizio is the world’s first 100% electric supercar, which can go 170 mph and go from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
